So summer was kinda hellish at the beginning. Had my operation. You can read all about it in my forthcoming memoir which is still a work in progress. But anyway, it turned out okay. They got the tumor out and all systems have returned to normal. Then C and I took our annual trip to Florida which was wonderful in every way. Got Bucky's book of amazing essays. That guy can turn a phrase. Also went to St. Pete and spent two wonderful days with my old pal Lou and then got to interview Sadhguru! I'll post where that interview(s) is (are) coming out soon.

A shout out to Deb and Bruce, Owen's parents in Jax, who took us to a wonderful dinner. We finally watched Rabbit Proof Fence, which they highly recommended. What a great movie. Superlatives all sound so meaningless, but this is absolutely a must-see movie. It's incredibly inspirational yet at the same time, if you're a white person of European descent, it will give you one more opportunity to wonder why you belong to a classification of people so arrogant and stupid. Okay, I know anyone of any color, creed or nationality can be stupid and arrogant but really . . .
